HOW TO CHECK PAYMENT STATUS OF MGNREGA ?

The National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005 (NREGA) is a social security scheme that seeks to provide employment and livelihood to rural workers in the country. In an effort to make inclusive and inclusive development a reality, NREGA was passed as a labor law and implemented in 200 districts in 2006. By 2008, it had come to cover the entire country. The scheme was designed to provide for any adult who guarantees a minimum of 100 days of employment in each financial year for rural employment. It also includes non-skilled work, making it one of its kind worldwide. It was later renamed Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA). MNREGA is the right to work for every adult citizen. If such employment is not provided within 15 days of registration, the applicant becomes eligible for unemployment allowance.
The implementation of MNREGA was left to the gram panchayats. According to government sources, since the inception of the scheme, the Government of India has incurred a total expenditure of INR 289817.04 crore for the scheme employing 68,26,921 workers out of 2,61,942 workers (figures as on 30 June 2015). is. Initially the minimum wage was fixed at Rs 100 per day, but was later revised keeping in mind the state labor employment conventions. The minimum wage is now set by the states and ranges from INR 163 in Bihar to INR 500 in Kerala. The MNREGA has faced a lot of criticism over the years. The plan has been set aside for several reasons - from criticism of corruption for the UPA to growing inequality in the form of election cards. Apart from creating a major financial drain on the country's resources, the real benefit of the scheme does not reach rural laborers, who do not think.
